Akwa Plus, based in Wingene, offers a diverse range of medium- and high-pressure cleaning systems for various sectors, with particular expertise in the food industry. We manufacture and assemble the complete system, and are responsible for the pipework and maintenance.

About this position
As a welder, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on innovation, customer satisfaction and collaboration. You will be responsible for assembling, welding and finishing various structures.

Your responsibilities
- You are proficient in TIG welding and PE butt welding.
- You determine the welding method based on instructions, technical documents and similar sources.
- You weld and assemble components into system solutions. This is usually carried out in our workshop, but there is also welding work on site, particularly when it comes to stainless steel pipes and PE pipes.
- You are responsible for ensuring the final conformity of the welding work and the structures, and carry out the necessary finishing operations.
- You are able to prepare the joint and position the parts, pipes or profiles.
Your profile
- You have several years’ welding experience.
- You have a good command of Dutch. Communication skills in French and English are an advantage.
- Certifications such as VCA are an advantage.
- You are independent, communicative and meticulous.
- Thanks to your team-oriented mindset, you work well with your colleagues.
